foamy funnel fingered,

sucked back, up

chucked and belched

out a mouth.

arms over head,

glory for the twenty

something; red

face, full of

life that feels forever.

slices of clarity

cutting through shirt

sleeves and bedsheets,

when transience does

its job and goes, but reminds

you first, ‘give me another.’
