Kathleen just graduated from Fairmont State University where she served as literary editor for their student journal, Whetstone, during 2010-2011 Academic Year. She is currently preparing a portfolio to accompany her application to low-residency MFA programs. She lives in West Virginia with two cats, an unspecified number of snakes, and no yippy little dogs. She wrote Love Consumed Him as an homage to the wonderfully quirky characters of Flannery O'Connor.
