Sandra Kolankiewicz's fiction and poems have appeared widely, most recently in Per Contra, Gargoyle, Bellingham Review, Rhino, and Atticus Review. Turning Inside Out won the Fall Black River Prize from Black Lawrence Press. Blue Eyes Don't Cry, from which "Percentage" is drawn, won the Hackney Award for an Unpublished Novel. She teaches Developmental English in West Virginia.
