In My Humble Opinion
Edited by Chandra K. Clarke
Reviewed by Jill Hill
In My Humble Opinion is a low-tech, no graphic site that has one thing going for it – Chandra K. Clark. In fact, she is the entire site, but she is funny and well versed on the lunacies of life. Her column, e-published on 6/1/99, waxes poetic on the benefits of chocolate, while she knowingly points a finger at our willingness to believe every scientific study that impinges on our ability to enjoy ourselves. Clark presents hard scientific proof that eating chocolate is an important step toward better health and asks the tough questions: "there is a great deal about chocolate that we do not know. For instance, what is the best delivery method: French silk pie, or hot fudge brownie. Do associated substances, like carmel, nougat or peanuts, provide additional benefits as yet undiscovered?" Clark posts her humor columns weekly, and if looking at life's absurdities is your bag, then In My Humble Opinion is worth a read.
