Dark oblong tombstones
glistening in platinum turf
half moon
half life
I stand waiting
to hear from you.
Willows whisper a silent memory
distant as a shooting star.
Turbulent movements
of black gowns
breathing sighs of momentary loss
and I stand waiting…
