Rachel Howard is the author of the memoir "The Lost Night," about the emotional aftermath of her father's unsolved murder. She is about to move to Swannanoa, North Carolina, where she will serve as the 2011-2012 Beebe Teaching Fellow at Warren Wilson College. She is currently finishing a novel.
