New Moon,

dead of night,

I snuck behind

the building

my demons

called home.

Lit match,

musky gas,

I set fire,

sought revenge,

on the place

that tried

to break me.

Bloody clouds,

billowing smoke,

I danced in

the embers,

tattooed my skin

with their ashes.
