My daydreams are draped in

Novocaine and whiteness

An anesthetic that numbs the pain

 

This nightmare leaves my feet

Cold as a prison term

Condemned to a bed of nails

Where I fall asleep to a song of needles

Where I drown in the salty ocean of space
